new summer vintage finds

I'm excited to present the newest arrivals at Lonesome Threads just listed on eBay a few hours ago! This collection is so sweet it will give you a toothache! With an excellent assortment of silhouettes and patterns, there really is something for everyone!

Though unplanned, the theme of this collection seems to be floral prints, polka dots, and ice cream pastels, but it just so happens that theme is right on-trend this season. So if you hadn't thought of an excuse to treat yourself to one of these pretty frocks, that's as good as any I've ever come up with. :)

let the adventure begin!

First things first, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Didi, and I am the creator of Lonesome Threads. Just sprouting up last month, Lonesome Threads is an up and coming online vintage clothing outlet.

OUR START: For a long time, Lonesome Threads was merely a daydream of mine. Being an overly indulgent vintage collector myself, I often mused about how cool it would be to somehow make a career out of it. But, I never considered it an actual option. Well after a series of futile attempts at a traditional career, I finally decided it was time to take a stroll down the path less traveled. Shortly after, Lonesome Threads was born. You know how you always hear "do what you love and happiness will follow"? Well my love for vintage clothing competes with the best of them, so with any luck, I'm on my way to sheer bliss!

OUR PHILOSOPHY:  My goal is to present vintage clothing in a way that is both appealing and inspiring. A lot of girls think they can't "pull off" wearing vintage, and I'm here to tell (and show) you that you can! And more, that you want to! There are so many perks to wearing vintage. To name a few...

1. VARIETY. You're not confined to what's in stores. With more options, the possibilities are as boundless as your imagination!
2. UNIQUENESS. Remember that time you got all dolled up for a party, only to have your parade rained out by a girl wearing the exact same dress? Vintage guarantees every outfit you wear will be exclusively yours!
3. QUALITY. It's true. They really don't make things like they used to, clothing included. These babies are made to last. Obviously...
4. KEEPS ITS VALUE. Do you get bored with what's in your closet? Me too. What if you could renew your wardrobe without going broke? Vintage often appreciates in value, or at least stays the same. So keep that closet revolving!
5. AFFORDABLE. You can snag killer deals! 'Nuff said.

I could go on all day, but I feel a rant coming on so I'll stop right there! :)
